Located in Wayne, the Water Watch programs at William Paterson and Montclair State Universities work closely together to organize cleanups.

Water Watch students and volunteers have pulled countless tons of trash out of the Passaic River in Paterson. Students also have a long-standing stream monitoring program that monitors stations on the Molly Ann Brook, Goffle Brook, and Preakness Brook to watch for problems in those waterways.
